This entry refers to content from the original Pathologic (2005) and the Pathologic Classic HD remaster. It has nothing to do with the sequel.

Black Vaccine is a type of vaccine found in Pathologic.

It is the earliest, and thus, weakest of the different strains of vaccines which Stanislav Rubin produces in his hideout.

Ingesting the Black Vaccine will immediately increase immunity to 70%, and change the default immunity level to 70% rather than 50% for 4 hours.

During this period, should the player's immunity fall below 70%, immunity will be restored at a rate of 50% per 30 in-game minutes, rather than the default 6% per 30 in-game minutes, until it is 70% again.

Acquisition

• While the Bachelor does not acquire a sample of the Black Vaccine in his playable route, he is shown to possess several samples of this vaccine in other routes.
• As the Haruspex, two samples of the Black Vaccine may be acquired from the Bachelor on Day 5 as a reward for bringing him a Butcher's Heart for the main quest "The Quivering Heart".
• Two samples of the Black Vaccine may be acquired by the Changeling on Day 3 by finding Rubin as part of the side quest "Who Will Injure the Bachelor?".

Blue Vaccine is a type of vaccine found in Pathologic.

It is a stronger, enhanced strain of the original vaccine, produced by Stanislav Rubin in his hideout.

Ingesting the Blue Vaccine will immediately increase immunity to 90%, and change the default immunity level to 90% rather than 50% for 4 hours.

During this period, should the player's immunity fall below 90%, immunity will be restored at a rate of 78% per 30 in-game minutes, rather than the default 6% per 30 in-game minutes, until it is 90% again.

Acquisition

• The Bachelor may acquire a sample of the Blue Vaccine in his playable route by speaking with Rubin on Day 4.
• The Haruspex may receive a sample of the Blue Vaccine as a reward from the Bachelor on Day 5 for bringing him the Bride's Heart for the main quest "The Quivering Heart".
• The Blue Vaccine is not available to the Changeling.

White Vaccine is a type of vaccine found in Pathologic.

It is the final and thus most powerful strain of the vaccines produced by Stanislav Rubin in his hideout.

Ingesting the White Vaccine will immediately increase immunity to 120% and will naturally fall below 100% after 6 hours should the player avoid infectious agents. The default immunity level becomes 120% rather than 50 for 4 hours.

During this period, should the player's immunity fall below 120%, immunity will be restored at a rate of 100% per 30 in-game minutes, rather than the default 6% per 30 in-game minutes, until it becomes 120%.

Acquisition

• The Bachelor is able to receive two samples of the White Vaccine on two separate occasions.

Spoiler warning: Significant plot details follow.

On Day 6, Rubin gives the Bachelor a sample of the vaccine after confessing that in the process of producing it, he desecrated the corpse of Simon Kain by effectively turning Simon's remains into the vaccine. He may receive a second, confiscated sample of the White Vaccine from Aglaya Lilich in Peter Stamatin's Loft on Day 7, after completing her request, "The Family Meeting", to allow her to speak with her niece, Maria Kaina.
