Marat Ranin is a character from Pathologic: The Marble Nest and the brother of Dora Feugel.
Plot
Pathologic 2
Marat and Dora are present in the Town Hall from Day 4 onwards. Dora will inform the Haruspex of a reward fund for saving babies from infected districts. Marat is visible behind her desk, sitting at the cradles.
Pathologic: The Marble Nest
During the events of The Marble Nest, the Bachelor finds Marat and Dora in the Cathedral under self-quarantine. Bachelor determines that Marat is exhibiting early signs of Sand Plague; however, his symptoms disappear once he leaves the Cathedral and goes to the Bachelor's lodgings to help care for sick refugees.
During Bachelor's nightmare, Marat blames his apathy for causing the outbreak in the Stone Yard, and assaults Bachelor. However, Bachelor overpowers him and beats him to death.
During the end of The Marble Nest, Marat indicates that he is at Bachelor's sickbed, begging him to stay alive for the good of the townspeople.
